Cliff notes:
Didn't have funds to respray the cars, so they got cleaned up as much as possible, and polished to the nth degree. Came up pretty good!

Those Bosch Alternators are great. There's heaps around, and they seem to last for ages. They were fitted to almost everything from the early '80's to the mid 90's.

Have you tried replacing the accelerator pump yet, that's a likely culprit if it's stumbling momentarily when you hit the accelerator.

No not yet, was thinking i might just convert to another carb. ...
