I have the van WSM.

If you send me your email address I will send scans of what I think are the correct pages (there are quite a few variations for different markets).

Hi again GraGra

The 0.5 watt ones will be fine. That just means that they can handle twice as much power. They will be slightly bigger than 0.25 watt ones, but this will be of no significance in ...

Hi GraGra

Sorry you are having trouble with your tacho.

Can you get hold of a 10k resistor to try? They only cost a few cents.

I can post you one if you can't easily source one.

BTW Your ...

Here is my understanding:

1000s have two different specification wheel boxes, so the angle specification of the gear wheel will depend on which boxes you have. I believe that there are ...

Unless I am very much mistaken, larger rolling radius tyres will make the speedo read lower, not higher than actual speed.

I confess that I was assuming you had the big central speedo in my earlier posts.

I assume that a 55 model would have the one in front of the steering wheel. If that is the case, I doubt you will ...

The 1000 figure is the one that tells you the TPM.

It is way too low for a 4.55 diff, which explains why it reads way too high.

You need one that is calibrated to around 1400 to 1500 TPM. I wil ...

Many had the horn switch incorporated into the indicator switch.

To sound the horn, the indicator wand is pushed toward the steering column.

I hope this helps.
