I probably have got a fork here, you know they have a bend from new.
A lot of play can be attributed to the carbon thrust washer which should be replaced no matter how good it looks. Cost about $20.

Just a little advice here, it is much cheaper to rebuild a 948cc motor than an 803cc. Your gearbox clutch etc will all fit.

They look OK no reason not to use one.
I have a good second hand one on e-bay at the moment. I removed mine in lieu of an alternator.
