hi all need a little help. have run wire from alternator to dash light and then from there it needs to go to ignition but i cant work out where to hook up to. i have used a ka or kb laser colum. can any one help.thank you Blue Ute Blue Ute Blue Ute

This is just to connect the ignition warning light, right ?
Not the main charging lead ?

If for the warning light, just connect the ign side of the light to the ignition side of the switch.
Use a test light if you are unsure which wire to use. You'll have a permanent power wire to the switch, one that's live on accessories, one that's live with ignition & one that's live in the start position.
Don't forget that with the ignition on, you'll have 2 power wires (acc & ign) on at once - make sure you don't hook it up to the accessory wire.

Do you have it connected OK at the alternator end ?
