I would keep the roof toss the rest at that 1st prize car and find a 2 door to look at as far as the chop top goes...........................
BUT......................................
Before you go to much further check out the fact that they are straight cuts accross the A pillar !!!!!!!
Australian enginers like Z cuts on the A and B pillars for a start I belive.
Not sure what Vic main roads think , but the guy up here helping with the ute reconds they are wary of American top chops cuse of the straight cuts.
Just my 3 cents worth.

thanks, there is an engineer down the road from me so I will have a chat to him. unfortunately the rust in the 2 door is pretty substantial in the frame, and prop[ortionally I prefer the 4 door door length with the coupe roof, but I will have a chat to him about the pillars and the project in general and see what the response is.
Cheers
Ryan

I've got the cheese grater on mine. with the rear end, I think it may be a matter of raising it slightly more and lessening the curve of it, smoothing it more, you can see in my last few pics I have cut and raised the rear join top near the bottom of the window, there is also a lot of 'tucking that needs to happen to the side/rear panels to make it work.

Check this link out that I found on the Canberra Morris Forum.

Some great finished chop top projects. I haven't seen this forum before , so don't know if it's a new one or not.
I have been sleeping a bit lately.....but that's from being up at this hour of the morning on night shift.
