G'day Darren

I have the VW tail lights on Morrx but do not know what they are off as they were on it when I got the car.

They look ok and do the job and most people would not know they do not belong.
I have seen some, presumably a later model, VW tail lights with a squared off bottom and the reversing lights built in. I have thought about fitting them to mine but they would be too much trouble to change and repaint them. But if you are changing your lights anyway then they would be a good option.

Cheers
Graham

thanks for that Graham. I had noticed yours had them. i have got a set but they dont look like yours. the lenses do but the bases look different. Ive seen the later squared off ones but I think they look a bit big. I would ask you to take a real close up picture for me but I know the car is a world away. thanks for replying.

ps, i have posted a heap of new pictures since I originally put the six up.

cheers

Darren

G'day Darren

This is about the best I can do with the pictures I have, hope it is of some help to you.

I have been watching your thread and admiring your work.
What radiator are you using it seems a good fit?
What wheels and tyres are you going to run?
My new wheels finally arrived in Geelong on thursday(about 3 weeks later than quoted when ordered) so hopefully will have some pictures this week.

Cheers
Graham

There the best, they dont quite fit the shape of the guard (dont touch top & bottom) a slight trim or grind it the middle area makes them fit nice, dont go to far or the bulb carrier hit the guard

Earlier ones are smaller & the len's cost a sh@t load, latter superbug ones are way to big to look good

Hi Graham

The radiator is from a subaru 1600 leone

It fitted perfect. I am running 14x6 superlites 18p offset. they fit perfect

fitting wheels to morries is always a compromise. It is very hard to get a 6inch wheel under the front of a morry. Too close and it hits the trunnion. on the otherhand, less offset will give you a wheel hanging out from the gaurd.

Post up some pictures when you get them, I had to wait too. All wheels told me they had them, then they didnt , then they were incorrectly stamped and it went on. I waited 4 weeks extra so you have done good

Keep in touch

Im removing the interior today. hoodlining as well. wish me luck

Darren
