2009 Shannons Marques in the Park
It's on again ... but a little different.
Marques in the Park, run by the Canberra club for the ACT Council of Motor Sports, will be on Sunday, 20 November 2009, from 10 am to 3 pm. It's the come-one, come-all Spring Show 'n Shine in the ACT.
Thanks to the posters who spotted the deliberate mistake (below) - it's actually Sunday, 22 November 2009!!
This year at a new venue, Patrick White Park just behind the National Library on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.
And, as ever, the usual trade and tucker stalls will be there and also as usual, entry is free!
Anyway - we'll see you there!

Just to clarify
The Canberra Region Morris Minor Club has organised Marques in the Park since the beginning in 2003.
Marques is for all types of vehicles Vintage, Veteran, Classic, Hot Rods, Customs, Mini Trucks and every other type you can imagine.
The event showcases Vehicles from clubs and individuals, the event is a casual show up and enjoy day, no trophies no award ceremonies just enthusiasts enjoying each other vehicles.
You can expect to see over 800 vehicles.
So plan a weekend away in Canberra and come and say hello to the guys and gals in the Canberra Morris Minor club.
Run on Behalf of the Council of ACT Motor clubs.

No Morrie, Just the Zephyr Wagon, make sure Geoff or Peter introduces us.
I am still waiting for my wheels and tyres to show up from the US of A. I have also been busy machining up a set of front hubs to suit the brakes I already have. Plus I have lost interest at this time as without the wheels and tyres I can't redesign the tray or finish off the front guards.
Marques is looking like it will be a great day.

Well its all marqued out and ready to go. Heaps of room for everyone.
Will be a good day. The best coffee maker in Canberra will be there too so make sure you have at least 1 cuppa.
We have roughly 600 cars that have registered.
