Tom
Have you also extended the cab, or is it just the way the picture was taken ?

Looks like between the top of the door (chrome section) and the back of the cab is wider then normal.

Heather
I haven't seen your lowlite, how about a pic sometime?

Richo
The ute runs a GX1400 Nissan, auto with a Marina diff and discs on the front.

Leigh
It was red for about 8 years before I decided I wanted a change and did it in orange, two years on decided red was the right colour after all.
I meant to put up a couple of interior shots of the yellow car....then forgot.

....................................................................................................
Even the yellow car was red a few years ago.

This is what it was like, its now back to a non supercharged 4K with 5spd and Corolla diff and discs.

Tom can you tell me what seats and mounts/runners you have used on that sweet looking car and the Pick up also. The car seats look great. I'm just looking for an alternative to the bench seat for my 55 ute, any tips?
Cheers and Beers

Hi Ted
The seats in the ute are very early Mitsubishi Lancer. They are thin and take up little space.
The yellow car has Mazda 121 seats. I used the runners that came with the seats but both needed modified mountings welding into the cars. (Basically 40mm square tube or heavy angle welded from the side panels under the door openings across to the transmission tunnel)

Hope that helps
Tom

Thanks for that Tom, quite a few people have been telling me to look at Lancer seats and I've just found some.....the 121 seats look excellent in the convertible.
