Tried to search, but couldn't finding any ideas

Would anyone have an idea for a interior light setup for a morry.

As in, when you open the door, the light comes on.

Kel

Yep.
Just doing my Ute at the moment there are two threaded holes ( 5/16 UNF) in the doors for the switches, saloons are fitted Vans and Utes just have the holes with a plug.
The steel threaded switches are about $7 ea. (ESM) LMP148
How they work.
There is a constant positive Ve+ cable to the light so a negative cable Ve- is run from the light to the door switch which makes contact to the body when the pin is out I:e door is open. The light sits in a piece of timber in the hood lining so not touching the body.
If you are wiring from scratch (hood lining out) you need to run a positive and negative cable up plus one from each door joined into one before the light.
Negative wire up allows you to switch the light on manually with doors closed.
If it is too hard to get the wire up can I suggest a couple of LED lights under dash operating off the doors. they would need to be plastic or mounted on a insulator.
good luck.

Only later Minors had the provision for the switch, around 1960 onwards will have the threaded holes.

or as I am currently in another country, I can buy these for $3.00 each

My morry does not have the holes in the door recess, so maybe these will be suitable. I will try these over then next week
