Hi Very Happy just a small question.
Could some one please tell me the proper fuses for the morrie?
I can’t get sens out of local dealers, I am almost ready to try and start the moggie.
Also there are four slots for the fuses are all take by fuses.
I haven’t been able to track down a manual at the moment.

Thank you for your time.
Darrell.

I think its only two fuses you'll need, there are extra slots and places to hold spare fuses etc, i'm no expert on them tho

They're just 35A glass fuses.

Should be obtainable from anywhere.

Thanks for all the information which is great. Very Happy
The first thing I should explain is that I picked my moggie up on Saturday.
She had been sitting in a shed for over the last twenty years.
Any why there was a problem with the full pump but I pulled it a part to see what makes them work and I put it back to gather surprised it works know.
But the full is still not coming down the main line. So I suspect the main line is blocked.
Any way I put fuel in to the carbie and she runs well till the fuel runs out.

Thanks Darrell

I had the same problem when I rebuilt my ute and had the fuel tank out, All you need to do is stick a airline in the tank with a rag around to seal it and pump some air in to pressurise it, this will force fuel down the line and to the pump, hope this helps

Tee hee - I forgot that today and turned over an engine for the first time*. No choke/throttle cables connected, so interesting smoke from the point where the gear box steady touches the cross member... Very Happy

*Ahem - first time in this car, anyway...

Me again - don't know if it's true of cars over there, but here in Britain, the later models had a 3rd inline fuse mounted on a wire beneath the fusebox. It's 10A, IIRC - I'll check tomorrow when it's light (It's midnight here,,, Very Happy)

Not many cars here like that. Production here stopped in 1962 (sedans). There's a few later LCVs but they stopped around '63/'64.

That's why engine swaps are common here - 99% of the cars here only had the 948cc engine Mad .

Here in NZ, we stopped the Saloons in '62 when the 1100 and 1300s came out but as they didn't have a LCV we kept the Minor LCV till the end of production and then a couple of years after.

So here the 1098 engines and ribbed gboxes are available but not real common. But the later diffs are very rear (LCVs never had them)

That's because you had the Series V cars which we never had and like you say the series V LCVs never had that diff.
