Hi all. I have been browsing the forum and thought it about time I made a move. I have owned Morries for 5 years now. My first a 55 series 2 which I still have and now has a 1200 datto in it, second was a 53 chopped convertible with a lot of rust and a twisted body with no srengtheners (other-half pinched that for a garden gnome - looks good with climbing roses growing over it) and now a 57 ute that was restored before I purchased it.

Welcome 57morrie.
You've started your collection with the most desireable models first though. You'd better start collecting some sedans now to stop the rest of us getting jealous Embarassed .

That "Speaker" you can see attached to the radio is actually a 12 volt heater

Canopy is just a steel frame with the cover stretched over it. I found it complete at a garage sale in Horsham, Vic. under a pile of rubbish, bought it for $50, brought it home and found it to be a perfect fit on the ute. just needed new zips and lengthened the sides hence the two different colours. Blue Ute

Ah, one of those ceramic jobbies Very Happy .
I hope the plastic cable tie can handle the heat Eye Rolls .

How does the generator cope with the heater ? I think they draw around 20A which is getting close to the poor generators capacity Embarassed .
