I picked up a Morris 1100 wiper motor from Ebay , its a single speed motor with a self parking switch.
Does anyone know how the wiring is set up on these motors ? It has 3 pins - I can get the motor to rotate but not self park.

Thanks in advance !

for parking they use a copper strip inside the wheel section to locate the park area, also if this is a round motor you might be able to convert to 2 speed as the brush plate could have holes fro the other brush needed

I dont need it to be 2 speed - I am swapping it for a 2 speed one with a mate who is building a rod, he only needs single speed wipers.
It seems ridiculous that a Morry with a 1500 in it must have 2 speed wipers but a '32 coupe with a supercharged big block only needs single speed but thats beaurocracy for ya Eye Rolls Eye Rolls Eye Rolls

in qld all hot rods have to have a 2 speed wiper thats why mini's and marina wiper motors are in very short supply.
funny that a 1500 morrie needs a 2 speed wiper when in fact the morris 1500/nomad has a single speed wiper fitted as standard, even when they went to the ADR's in 1971. They had to fit a fan to the heater but still only a single speed wiper Embarassed
