Hi All

I know you are all going to say its all been covered before but i cant find it anywhere

I want to convert my 61 2door wipers to 2 speed.

I have managed to find two different kind of 2 speed wiper motors.

One mounts sort of like the original single speed but with different mounting bolt spacings.

The other has a mounting method of a strap over it but with a much smaller gear inside than the other. the gear out of this motor appears to be the same size as the single speed morry one. The part no for this motor is LRW110

My question is on the morry motor it has a wire coming off the top plate which appears to be something to do with the park.

I would prefer to use the type 2 wiper motor, the one with the strap but i want the park to work.

Can anyone advise what is the best way for this to work.

Cheers

Libbor

apart from that you should check the plastic wheel inside and see what sweep angle it has as there are several different ones for each application.
i think they are inter changable
motors are late mini, marina, selected triumph models.
the marina is mounted with a strap but also has mounting "legs" that are a wider stance thn the morrie
