Denmark had Metric long ago, so cars assembled there came with kph speedos. Mum and Dad went for a trip there 2 years ago. They got in contact with the club before going over and were invited on a run and even provided with a car to attend the run. They brought me back a speedo quiet cheap and amoungst their luggage so it didn't cost me a cent for postage Yellow Convertible
Was hopping for a left hand drive steering rack and pedal setup, but that would not have fitted in Red Convertible
There is a parts supplier over in Danmark if you google "Nordisk Morris Minor Klubb" you maybe able to find a link to the parts supplier from there, i shall look for details otherwise.
I recomend checking out the fibreglass pedal cars they have, similar to the austin a40 pedal cars. Freight would be a killer to bring a pedal car out Red Convertible

Make sure that when you order the speedo that you quote the number, not sure which one in the centre section, part of the number refers to the gearing so that it will match the one that came out and prevent recalibration later on? correct me if I'm wrong?

And yes the speedo goes to 140 km/h

I shall put an image in my pictures still dont know how to put on here

Thanks for all the info, i really appreciatte it. As far as calibration goes, it does not matter as running gear will be all different.

You can only go 110km/h legally so that is all you need

Hi libbor

I have seen a few of the black face 140 km/h ones on Aus ebay--even quite recently. They often bring big $$ though. I have also seen some 90mph ones with smaller km/h markings closer to the centre of the dial (my Austin Minor has this style).

Cheers

This is the one I have.

Dont be puzzled by the indicator lights.

The top two are oil and ECM light, which were not there at all before.

I have used led's that are clear when off but light up in the appropriate colours when lit.

What I have found interesting is The black face one that Necros has put up appears to have the black face all in one piece where as mine has a separate centre piece which contains the odometer surrounded by a chrome ring, not unlike the original. Then the outer ring which contains the speed graduations

I cant believe there can be so many variations Eye Rolls

The colour difference is hardly noticeable in real life. I think the flash accentuated it in that photo.

Same with the Datsun odometer/trip meter - the numbers line up when sitting level with the speedo.
