Hi All
Great to have Grant around to see 'Betty' which his blue ute. Grant brought another mate with his green ute. I had a great morning fun bonnet gazing and getting tips. In true Morris fashion Grant & John have already offered parts!
My wee morris is a 1956 traveller that I bought off the http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/cat//33/traveller/ web site. It was based in Northern Ireland which has the same rust issues as the rest of the UK, so far it seems in good nic.
It was fairly extensively rebuilt in the mid 90's and I guess has been garaged since as the wood is in good condition but will soon need another coat or two.
I only have to do small jobs (seat belts, not charging battery, indicators, rear springs etc) so I hope to have it for a road worthy after Easter. I am very excited.
The car itself goes very well although to quote Grant "Not much pedal in the breakes"!!! Which was been very nice. Hope to update with my progress soon.
Irish Sean

Hi Sean, welcome aboard the Aussie Morrie Train!
What is the story with how the Traveller got to Australia?
Your Trav looks very nice,
not to mention the utes as well what a great line up!
I think Morrie fanciests from all over the world speak the same language.
