I have had nothing but trouble with my wipers since I registered my car in 2004.
Problem 1 Wipers were stoppping in motion half way accross the screen.
Tests showed a very low voltage at the motor which I cured by fitting a relay and rewiing earth( negative) cables.
Problem 2 Similar as first time though this turned out to be corroded spindles and wheels from water entering shalfs. Solved by totally rebuilding and using sealant under gaskets. This is common and you often see Minors with one arm off to make them work.
Problem I had yesterday on Club Run was wipers sweeping too far almost touching door mirrors.
I have adjusted them several times they park OK down on the windcreen rubber.
My next thought is to repostion the drive pin on the gear wheel
Any Ideas??? Yellow Sedan Blue Ute

How many degrees is imprinted on the wheel that is driven by the shaft of the motor, you can see this by removing the small screws and then the cover, I think the maximum for a 1000 screen is 110 degrees correct me if I am wrong, this is what mine currently has and parks nicely just above the rubber and then sweeps to almost touch the rubber at the screen edge, especially if you have used a wiper motor from another car with a larger winscreen.
