question from deans 1000 MM chop coupe project

a full rewire kit is required

the confusion is with trafficators

anyone know what loom kit should be purchased to to meet 2017 rego standards ?

Trafficators would originally have been fitted low on the 2 door/convertibles. If there's no aperture behind the door, and you're not planning on fitting them, go for the later wiring loom.
I think all Australian cars/convertibles had trafficators though. Leslie's '62 is one of the last Australian assembled cars & it had them.

You might want to ask the supplier what the difference is. If a local supplier, tell them what the car originally had (trafficators) & what you want to fit now (indictors).

Also have a think about what steering column the car will run. If some switches are on there, maybe the loom needs to be modified to cater for that.

Check UK prices before you buy. Lots of different prices. Local companies will build to your requirements.
