Yes the bump stop is for bonnet vibration, all long bonnet cars should have them

As I am a tallish fella, I would like to add, that it is nice to pull up for petrol, and stretch the legs and have a break from the small driving seat.

A four hour driving period and then a break ...

Tried to search, but couldn't finding any ideas

Would anyone have an idea for a interior light setup for a morry.

As in, when you open the door, the light comes on.
