19th NZ Morris convention Dunedin April 2010

A very big thank you to the members of the Otago Morris Minor Club who hosted the 19th convention in Dunedin over Easter 2010.
Debra and I enjoyed ourselves immensely and the hospitally shown to us by all, was greatly appreciated.
A special mention of thanks go to Lindsay and Merrolee who kindly lent us their car for the run.

Awww i was in Dunedin a couple of weeks after Easter, not long got home from a 3 week tour of both the north and south islands. Didnt see many morries in our travels, saw one in Warkworth which was a very old traveller with the plates DORIS and then saw a beautiful example behind locked gates (guessing it was a staff members) at the Thermal Wonderland near Rotorua with the plates MORRIS and then we passed a couple of examples along the highways of the south island.

Everytime i saw a morrie i never had the camera ready!

The only cars my partner managed to snap (much to her dismay at me telling her to get photos) was of these rods in the Kaikoura region on the south island:









Would love to see more pics from the convention!!

Looks like a great event. Hopefully next time I will have something that will make it (as it should be in the proper island). I suspect the car will still not look as good as those ones
