Thanks Scott
Sedan coming soon, which I will make a mould of.
If I can keep the supply of remote cars coming I should have a complete fleet by 2007. Guess I will just have to go on holidays again!Very Happy
The hardest part of the diorama was finding figures to the car scale. Eye Rolls
Malaysia helped again.

Grant
If the mould turns out worthy I will let you know.
The bodies I have made so far have been formed over a clay model (hand formed) using mat and resin being built up over the outside. The clay is then removed from the inside after the glass is cured.
This is fine for one-offs but no good for numbers as the clay mould is destroyed during removal.
Stay tuned. Very Happy

Tom

Impressive Tom.

I'm into models a bit my self. I have about 30-40 model minors in 1/43 scales (corgi etc) I buy in fro mthe UK on ebay and sell here in NZ and keep what I like. I have abour 22 here I'm selling at the mo.

What base do you have your RC body on? When in Perth I was put together a stripped RC car with the gas engine, was a lot of fun when I got it going. Would also be interested when you have something made.

The Beardmores made a RC car too, have you seen that?

Fweddy
I threw the boxes away when I packed the cars in my suitcase in KL to save room so I can't tell you the brand.(It's not stamped on the base.)
I can tell you that there were two sizes the larger has a wheel base of 270mm and a track of 190mm and the bodies were of Skylines and Supras.
They are all 9volt, coil spring suspension and two speed diffs and only like smooth surfaces.
The tray back ute is 420mm long 190mm wide and 170mm high (about 1/10 scale
The van is on a slightly smaller base and is 350mm long 165 wide and160mm high.

When winter really sets in I will do the sedan and put a bit more effort into the clay model so hopefully I can produce some quality shells.
