Parkes is still on, all you need is an entry fee of $30 and your morri, leave your club membership at home, it's not needed. The country towns are looking for our support with a " how you going mate" after going through a severe drought and now this downpour that is really affecting the harvest of a good crop. Our Morries will put a smile on a lot of faces and cheer the kids along. I had the opportunity of visiting a major country town last week end and the mayor couldn't emphasise the need for tourists to visit their shires to lift their spirits.
Do the Ozzie thing for our farmers, they actually feed us daily.

As my post above Ron. Already put in my apology to the organisers as I will still be in Wollongong.
BTW I live in Dubbo and have done since 1979, and have a son-in- law manger and agronomist in Parkes as well as running the home farm.
But I will be at the Parkes swap meet on the 15th Oct. with my car
They are expecting heavy rain again to morrow in the Central West.
I have e-mailed all Central West Morris owners to turn up.
Hope the weather is kind.
Cheers
The Annual Car show at Forbes is on this week end also. A big event every year but this year their show area is already under water. Perhaps it will be cancelled?

It would of been good to catch up with you John, maybe next time.its good to see younger generation getting involved in primary production as we certainly need them going forward. Farming is hard and can be cruel.
Saturday and Sunday are meant to be fine so I do hope they move the annual car show to higher ground.
Safe trip to Woollongong, don't worry about the rain we were begging for it a month ago and now it's here , life goes on.
