1957 MM 1000

If the photo works it will be of "Emmie", our first MM, that we bought a couple of weeks ago. Registered as 1958 but actually a 57 CKD import. (first reg 58?).

I've already had help from forum members in identifying the build year, and all being well I will upload some more photos and you old hands can give you opinions/thoughts/advice.

By the way the colour is an early Range Rover colour according to PO.

Welcome to the forum a nice car to start with. Lots of help and information here.

Cars were all made here by 1957 fully, all made with Australian content at BMC at Zetland in Sydney.

Hi Don,
Working on the pics. Thought as I’d managed to post one I would be ok.
However when I tried to upload multiple photos I got an “error 403”.
Will try again tomorrow, but meantime if anybody has any tips........?
