Hi all
I have been given a late model Speedo witch is in KPAs it is new old stock.
I was told it is for minor but l think it is for a mini.
My question is will the fuel gauge work with a 59 fuel sender or do l have use the gauge from the old Speedo.
Also does the Speedo read true or do l have to get it recallabrated.
Thanks for any help

Almost certainly it will need calibration. Compare the numbers on the speedo face with your original.
Some of the Minor types are recorded here: https://morrisminornsw.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Identifying-your-Morris.pdf
Seeing as the speedo is a KPH type, I'm guessing it's going to be quite a late version which probably used a voltage stabiliser for the fuel guage. If that is the case, you might need a late model Minor sensor to suit.

Different tank senders for "Black" face speedo's as to the "Gold" faced ones, If you go to the ESM site you will see the two, black gauge one is cheaper.

Hi Scott
The numbers on my Speedo are SN4421/116SA yes it has a voltage regulator it has a black face and it is in KPH it goes to 140 l could not find it on the spread sheet my friend who brought it said it is out of a European morris he brought it of a Dutch sight he never installed it it is new old stock it still has the little rubber stoppers over the holes in the back.
I would like to install it so it because it is in KPH if I just forget about the voltage regulator and put the fuel gauge from my old gold face Speedo into the back face one l think that would work ok . I will see how it reads lf it is neaded I will get it recallabrated later
Thanks for all the help Scott

Simple job to change the sender but changing the fuel gauge to gold face will work
I get my speedos calibrated in Sydney at Manly instruments
He require how many turns of the speedo cable in a driven 20 meters

Sort the speedo calibration after you've finished everything else:
You might find you want a higher diff ratio after an engine rebuild/replacement and a change in tyre size will also affect the speedo too.
