Hi Everyone,
Very sorry for this late reply. I will blame Covid 19 because at present my work life is insane & I have very little spare time.


You may or may not be aware of MMCCQ decision to forfeit the 2021 Morris Minor National Rally, it was a difficult decision to make and totally unforseen. As a club we cannot see how we can host a successful event considering the current threat of Covid 19. The changes to social behavior & record keeping are not an easy situation to deal with & most certainly something our club is not equipped for. We are also not in a position to sustain financial loss if the event was to be cancelled in the future.

Our preparations for the event were well advanced. We had assembled an amazing management team and we were very dedicated to hosting a successful event.

We were literally on the cusp of announcing our final plans. Fortunately we had not progressed to accepting nominations for the event and accepting payments from participants & Sponsors. The rest is history...

We will fully support any club that intends to take on the responsibility of hosting a National event.

That is very disappointing but understandable, a lot of work would have been done in the back ground, and I know the committee members will be very disappointed, a lot of people were looking forward to this event.

The club presidents now need to get together and work this out, we need ALL of the clubs involved, to keep this event going.

Idea's to keep it going.

We cannot let another year go by without a proper National Rally a Combined Club event is what we need. Each Club could assume responsibility for section like show, dinner, rally etc
