Gday all. Thought I would post a few pics on the rebuild of my series 2 ute.
Let me know if the links don't work.
Cheers

What a beauty Blue Ute

Slow and steady wins the race. Ask away as there is plenty of help on here.

I look forward to your build progress mate.

Reminds me of my morris ute that built by myself and a mate when we where tenagers. Stripped it down to the chassis and fitted a van back onto it which turned out to be a reasonably easy job to do. Had to sell the car as wife at the time did not like it. Wife long gone and so is the van Mad Mad Mad Mad

Cheers Mike

Some advise from one who has done what you are doing
1. Takes lots of before photos.
2. Buy all final colour paint in one lot (approx 4 liters)
3. Buy new panels from Andrew Eggleton Uk ( best fit best price)
4. Keep asking question here.

Good Luck

Gday all. Thanks for the interest and suggestions.
Yes the hoist is fantastic. I've got a 52 ford mainline to do after this one so thought it was worth the investment. Bought it from a mob called Autohoist. They are in Tweed Heads. Cost me $3600 to buy. It is Chinese so it's cheap but appears to work OK mechanically.

With regards to appearance I am actually keeping the patina look and going to coat it in some stuff called renaissance wax. All the underside will be cleaned up and repainted however.

My first full build on anything so learning a heap.
