just the way the celestial universe twisted this year with the dates.
we have kept our usual date (3rd Sunday in October) to avoid confusion.
but there has been a number of other oddities this year like our club meeting (3rd Wednesday of the month) being a day before the combined council state body (4th Thursday of the month)
we can promise less crowds but not the screaming engines and cheaper entry

Come on Carl you only need 4 wires to make it run and a battery, battery + to starter battery - to block coil wire to points, and power to the points, if you wanna get fancy you can hook up the alternator to charge the battery

If it's not working, then just bring the 2 speed wiper for me (in case Oli has his padlocked down)

mine is padlocked too Very Happy
grant
thats how i have been starting it, but after 3 alternators 1 barely charges, 1 over charges and the latest has serious issues which may have caused problems elswhere and not enough time, energy or money to fix it.
at least the Land Rover is a diesel and doesn't need an ignition system.
as far as i know i will be parking you all so see you there
