Hi Monk - aren't we the little Miss Marple?
Registered in the Northern Territory 10 years ago -must have kept the plates when the rego lapsed do you think?
'NSW' plates are actually from a photo of a different car from the Wolseley Club site in the UK and are UK plates.
Regards
Gary

That will certainly keep you busy Garry for a while. I look forward to seeing some more pics as it progresses. Good luck with it.

Thanks Dazle - yes it's a project alright but mechanically and rustwise very little to do.
It's the wood that will be tricky - mainly the rear doors - and I can measure 20 times and still get it wrong with wood. Maybe it's time for me to learn.

Good luck with the project Gary, will be good to see some progress pics and even better to see it on the road when it is all finished.
Cheers,
Jason

Thanks Jason - they tell me it will arrive in Brisbane on Friday - I'll have more photos when I start to clean it out a bit. Won't be til the weekend after this as I'm busy this weekend.
I can hardly wait to get it though.

Monk, I think that is a UK plate on the back. From memory the black on yellow (Rear) and black on white reflective style plates were introduced in around 1969.
Hope this is of some use regarding its history
Cheers, Paul

Paul -that's not my car - example only for illustration purposes of the steel frame that the wood is screwed to - my car is the green one from Darwin - that car is on the Wolseley Forum in the UK where they have a section on Morris Oxford Travellers.

Yeah Paul, my bad. I glanced at the second lot of pics and assumed they were one and the same and just took in the yellow and black plates. I was more interested in the NT connection because of my 20 years there. It should be a good project.
